Holly Petersen, PR Coordinator at Bent Image Lab writes,
“We finished the spot in cinema stereoscopic 3D and used a very innovative, highly technical technique that has never been seen in Cinema Stereo 3D. We combined emotive live action eyes with stylized 3D CGI animated characters. The process was very difficult because we had to cast for each character to find the right eyes and then preplan all of the animation so that the eyes can be matched to the angle in which the characters will be animated. Everything depends on the rotation and position of a character’s heads as they are animated throughout each shot. And the real technical challenge/feat is to be able to use the footage in 3D space!”
